If the first three days are any indication of what the rest of the year is going to be like, then WHOA are we in for a fantastic year!!!
Our number one goal at this time of year is "team building" - getting to know one another, learning to work with each other, and working to make sure the class as a whole is READY TO LEARN.
The following are only a few of the many things we have squeezed into this week thus far.

| We are doing lots of activities to symbolize how although we are individuals, we are in fact "all in this together" as one class community. |

| One of my most exciting things about teaching, is class read alouds. We have started into our first novel. After just a couple of chapters we are already hooked and want to hear what is going to happen. |
