Remembrance Day

Once again I am in awe of what little bodies can do.  Today's school wide Remembrance Day assembly moved all that were there, both young and old. The songs. The poetry. The art work. The Photos. They were all so touching and reassuring in a way. It  makes us aware that we are fortunate to live when, and where we do. As I sat and took, in all of the sights and sounds of the assembly, I was so proud of how the children showed their respect and are trying to find a deeper understanding and empathy for what war means to them. I am proud to be Canadian and I am thankful for being a part of our school community.
