Museum #2

Another informative day at the museum. Here are some of the facts we learned about St.Marys during our visit. 

-1854 St. Marys became a village

- the village hall had many purposes-villages offices, school, police/jail, fire hall

- village hall was across from where Canadian Tire is now

-1864 we became a town with 3000 people

-town crest has beaver, train bridge, arm with hammer, balance, wheat
