Crocus Planting With The Rotary ClubLoo

Today we headed to Cadzow to help the Rotary Club fulfill their commitment to plant 13,000 crocus bulbs in the park. The bulbs are planted to recognize the immunizations that are given in hopes of eliminating polio across the planet. We are looking forward to seeing the results of our efforts next spring.
Looks like the grade 3 kids are doing all the work and grade 8 kids are watching!

Filling the holes with crocus bulbs. Each group needed to plant 200 bulbs in a 2m square area.

Hard at work.

Look mom! My knees are dirty. I really was working hard.
